Dr. Gonzalez is a seasoned Oil & Gas industry professional with emphasis in Applied Mathematics for the upstream side of the industry. He joined ODS in 2010 as Technical Manager, bringing in his extensive and valuable experience in applying mathematical and statistical methods to practical geoscientific and petroleum engineering problems, as well as research for alternative formation characterization methodologies. With a diversified and impressive track-record on reservoir characterization, risk analysis, statistical and mathematical modeling, he is an exceptional asset to ODS as the leader for our in-house integrated projects. Two of his last projects included an independent reserves valuation for a company with oil fields in Texas, and a Reserves Audit for a large South African Company.
Reinaldo has a PhD in Mathematics from Universidad Central de Venezuela (UCV). Since 1988 he has worked for PDVSA - Intevep, PDVSA - E&P , Petrolera Ameriven (strategic association PDVSA, ConocoPhillips, ChevronTexaco) , PEMEX, Andina, S.A. (Bolivia), Schlumberger, Minpro, Advanced Resources International, to mention but a few. He held positions as a specialist in:
