Mr. Romero is an experienced Senior Drilling Engineer and QHSE Professional with proven track record, 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry during which he has occupied different technical and supervisory positions in ODS, Maraven, PDVSA and Halliburton. He joined ODS in 2008 when he was placed as Executive Drilling Advisor to Pertamina-EP. There he performed analysis based on quantitative risk and uncertainty in order to define, design, and establish a Methodology to Improve Drilling Performance. Before that he headed a QHSE Division for Halliburton and PDVSA to achieve company standards, applying codes and regulations as appropriate and complying with the established scope and budget.

As a team leader of integrated studies has a macro-view of the whole upstream process and a track record of improving the Business Process as an executive level advisor.
